Make a CKey.

Type a link, a few words or a contact card and the code is drawn as you type. The CKey core runs inside this page, so nothing you type leaves your browser.

Content

0 bytes of UTF-8

Links, email addresses, phone numbers, map places and contact cards are recognised. A reader offers them as an action and waits for a tap.

Size and error correction

Auto picks the smallest version that fits. Higher error correction survives more damage and uses more of the code for repair. The PNG size includes the quiet margin.

Appearance

Strict refuses a style that could stop the code from scanning. Adaptive repairs it. Override draws it as given and never certifies it.

Print

Type something to see its CKey.

Not checked

Certification runs the core’s modelled camera scan on the code exactly as styled.

About these files

  • One source for every file

Downloads come from the same core as the preview. The PNG uses the size you chose; the print PNG also records its physical resolution. SVG and PDF are vector artwork and scale cleanly.

  • Described, never followed

“Reader shows” follows the CKey payload conventions. A conforming reader only offers the action and waits for a tap. This page never opens what you type.

  • A modelled check, not a guarantee

Certification simulates a camera reading the code as styled. CKey is experimental: test printed codes with the readers your audience will use. The CKey overview explains the project’s status.
